FAQs

Can we tour the venue?

Absolutely! We would love to give you a tour. We do require that you fill out our Wedding Questionnaire form before setting one up. Once this is done we can arrange a date and time that is convenient. Weekend tours will be limited to off season only. During busy times weekday will be only opportunities for tours.

When do the flowers bloom?

We have flowers blooming frequently throughout the year in small areas. Our mass plantings start to bloom in late June and will continue blooming right up until frost. Our peak blooms will be July- mid September.

Are there hidden fees?

No there are not. We do require a non-refundable booking fee. This is 50 % of the package total, and is applied to your total due.

What about a security deposit?

We do require a $250 Security deposit due by date on contract. This is refundable after owners have inspected property and no damage has occurred.

What if I rent the chapel, can I also use the Glass House?

When you book with Wildflower Farm; (Bud and Bloom Packages) you are renting the entire venue. You will get to decide where the ceremony takes place, and where to have a reception if you want one. It will not be broken up and priced differently for different locations. When you book here, you get the 4 plus acres to use!

Is 50 really your max?

Yes it is. We are a micro wedding venue. We are limited on parking, and cannot accommodate large crowds. On the plus side…this allows for an intimate experience for you and your guests you’ll get the time you want to visit and see everyone important on the big day.

How much parking is available?

We can park 25 vehicles. We provide a parking attendant for a few hours prior to start of wedding to help maximize our parking area. We would encourage carpooling for those you invited that are willing and capable.

What about bugs?

Wildflower Farm is a beautiful venue set within nature, and with nature there are always things beyond our control. We do provide hand fans, and bug spray for you and your guests to use. We also have a few machines to try to mitigate the presence of any annoying insects. We try to avoid any aggressive treatment of our flower beds so as to protect and preserve as many natural pollinators as possible. You will encounter many forms of insects during bloom season, but know that they are busy collecting pollen and nectar and will pay no attention to you. There will also be tons of butterflies to experience. Understanding that you will be having a wedding in nature will allow you to prepare for all that nature offers.

What Venders can we use for catering?

Any Venders you want for catering is fine with us. If you want some recommendations we would be glad to offer some.

Is alcohol allowed at the wedding?

A toast is permitted, but no vending and no open bars are allowed.

How long do we get the property when we rent it?

Seed Package couples get use of the venue (Cottage & Glass House excluded) for two hours. This is for Monday-Thursday. Come and have your ceremony and pictures taken in that time frame.

Those who book the Bud or Bloom Package, you get use of the venue (Cottage & Glass House included) from 8am-9pm. Bud is Sunday-Friday. Bloom is available Weekends and Weekdays.

The Bouquet Package will get use of the venue for 3 days from 11am on day one to 3pm on day three. This includes a two night stay connected to first and second day.

Can we have a rehearsal?

If you book the Bouquet Package yes a rehearsal the night before the wedding is an option. If you book our other packages then we recommend doing a brief run-through earlier in the day before getting ready for the wedding.

Is staying in the cottage an option?

Yes it is…but it will depend on when your wedding is. We would be happy to discuss this during your tour.

What about clean up after the reception?

We provide two white barrels with trash bags for you to clean up after the reception. However if you purchase our decor & clean up package, we will deal with the clean up for you after the reception, and then remainder cleaned up after your stay with us is concluded.

Does Wildflower Farm provide photography?

No, but we can recommend some fantastic photographers.

Does Wildflower Farm provide Wedding Planning and Coordinating services?

YES! We are so pleased to now offer wedding planning/coordination by our very own Lavender Robertson. Check out our announcements page for further information.

We also love to recommend Kelly Story of Storybook Micro Weddings. She is incredible and would take any stress away on your big day.
