FAQs

Can we tour the venue?

Absolutely! We would love to give you a tour. We do require that you fill out our Wedding Questionnaire form before setting one up. Once this is done we can arrange a date and time that is convenient. Weekend tours will be limited to off season only. During busy times weekday will be only opportunities for tours.

Can Wildflower Farm hold the date your interested in?

Unfortunately we cannot hold dates without the non refundable booking fee being paid. We are a first come first serve business. We get local couples, as well as couples from all over the country. Some schedule tours, do our virtual tours, and some book sight unseen. With flexibility for your dates and the possibility to have weekday weddings too, hopefully we can find what is ideal for you.

When do the flowers bloom?

We have flowers blooming frequently throughout the year in various beds, and are constantly adding new plants each season. Our mass plantings start to bloom in late June and will continue blooming right up until frost. Our peak blooms will be July- mid September.

Are there hidden fees?

No there are not. We do require a non-refundable booking fee. This is 50 % of the package total, and is applied to your total due.

What about a security deposit?

We do require a $500 Security deposit due by date on contract. This is refundable after owners have inspected property and no damage has occurred, as well as venue rules being followed.

What if I rent the chapel, can I also use the Glass House?

When you book with Wildflower Farm; (Bloom & Bouquet Packages) you are renting the entire venue. You will get to decide where the ceremony takes place, and where to have a reception if you want one. It will not be broken up and priced differently for different locations. When you book here, you get the 4 plus acres to use!

Is 50 really your max?

Yes it is. We are a micro wedding venue. We are limited on parking, and cannot accommodate large crowds. On the plus side…this allows for an intimate experience for you and your guests.

How much parking is available?

We can park 25 vehicles. We provide a parking attendant for a few hours prior to start of wedding to help maximize our parking area. We would encourage carpooling for those you invited that are willing and capable.

What about bugs?

Wildflower Farm is a beautiful venue set within nature, and with nature there are always things beyond our control. We do provide hand fans, and bug spray for you and your guests to use. We also have a few machines to try to mitigate the presence of any annoying insects. We try to avoid any aggressive treatment of our flower beds so as to protect and preserve as many natural pollinators as possible. You will encounter many forms of insects during bloom season, but know that they are busy collecting pollen and nectar and will pay no attention to you. There will also be tons of butterflies to experience. Understanding that you will be having a wedding in nature will allow you to prepare for all that nature offers.

What Venders can we use for catering?

Any Venders you want for catering is fine with us. If you want some recommendations we would be glad to offer some.

Is alcohol allowed at the wedding?

A toast is permitted, but no vending and no open bars are allowed. Failure to follow the no alcohol policy will result in forfeiture of security deposit.

Yes it is…but it will depend on when your wedding is. We would be happy to discuss this during your tour.

No. We try to keep our prices very reasonable and believe all our options are affordable no matter the day of the week.

There is a bathroom inside the cottage for our Bride’s and Bridal Party to use while getting ready. (Bloom & Bouquet Packages only) There is also our guest bathroom located inside our little cabin close to the Glass House.

Can our pet be a part of the wedding?

Yes, within reason….We have had several couples bring their dogs to take part in the ceremonies. The cottage is pet free, but the Cabin is pet friendly. So if your furry family is going to take part that is awesome! Just please remember they are not allowed in the cottage. Also someone will need to be responsible for their safety and security.
